Summer Camp - Outdoor Adventures 6/19 - 6/23

The joy of playfulness is our rocket fuel, and our curiosity is the limit!

Outdoor Adventures with the Wild Hearts Kids Club mean immersion in nature, creative, active and playful challenges, and fun surprises! 

The young explorers pick, choose and combine favorite adventures from a smorgasbord of dozens of options, or co-create new ones altogether! While always fun and adventurous, our camps adapt activities to include all participants' abilities.

Every adventure is different: an exciting location and thoughtfully prepared "starter" activities get the group going, and then the kids' creativity takes over, adding surprising twists, turns and side adventures to the day!

Our camps invite the childrens' leadership, encourage them to try something new, and emphasize care for and communication with one another. We embrace big feelings and work with and through them as they arise; social-emotional learning is woven into the fabric of all our adventures (because hey, that's a part of life!).

Physical activities are balanced with contemplative pauses, art or engaging mindfulness activities for kids to reconnect us to ourselves.

Adventurers will also learn practical life skills like tying knots, building and cooking with a solar oven, making a fire, using an amateur radio, learning about edible wild plants, and much more.

Wild Hearts Kids Club Outdoor Adventure Camps intend to engage  the whole child - physical activity, emotional health, social skills, intellectual stimulation and even spiritual inspiration!

A helpful word about logistics

Based on the participants' home location, we'll choose an optimal dropoff and pickup point together. While we like to provide little treats along the way, please pack a lunch, snack and plenty of water for your child. Please also let us know about any allergies (including food allergies) or other medical needs your child may have.
