About the event

Let your kids spend a week of fun-filled mornings with Aikido By The Bay! Each day, we will integrate creative play time outdoors (we're close to San Mateo Central Park), martial arts and self-defense as well as engaging indoor activity like kids olympics or NERF battles in our beautiful gym space into the schedule!

If you're looking for a movement-based, highly engaging and fun skills class - look no further!

9:00am Our daily structure will begin  with an engaging outdoor activity in nearby San Mateo Central Park, to get the kids into the healthy sunlight and fresh air before the UV rays become too strong. Activities include, but are not limited to, hide and go seek, ball games (volleyball, soccer, spike ball, etc.), slack lining, arts & crafts activities, treasure hunts, etc.

10:15am After returning to our dojo and a short water & snack break, the participants will enjoy a focused Aikido & Martial Arts lesson, for about 45 minutes.

11:15am The remainder of our time together will be spent on varying indoor activities, like NERF battles, Kids Olympics, creative play or even story / improv time.

12:00pm Camp ends. Extended pickup time available upon request.

This camp is ideally suited for children aged 5 - 10 years old.

Aikido By The Bay does not provide drinks or snacks - please bring your own! (-:

The camp will be held with a minimum of 4 participants.
